Can I set up BLUEWAVE anywhere?

The 300-amp version of BLUEWAVE complies with the IP54 degree of protection and is thus protected against dust and splash water. As standard, the 30, 50 and 100-amp versions comply with the IP20 degree of protection and are thus protected against penetration by solid matter. The degree of protection can be increased by installing the device in a switch cabinet.

Do I have to adapt BLUEWAVE to changed network loads?

BLUEWAVE recognizes changed network loads and automatically adapts its compensating current. Up to five BLUEWAVE units can be used parallel without any problems if the power consumption in your network exceeds the current rating of your BLUEWAVE unit.

Does BLUEWAVE reduce energy costs?

Yes! BLUEWAVE compensates for reactive power, which is needed to generate electromagnetic fields, but, in contrast to active power, cannot be used to convert energy. An unnecessary load is placed on the mains supply and generator systems if reactive power is not compensated for, which is why utility companies charge for it. As a result, BLUEWAVE can reduce energy costs by up to 30 percent.
